Confidential Property Adverts help reduce SPAM

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

For our own free property listing UK service we believe that confidentiality is key when advertising with us.  This applies whether you add a property wanted listing or if you are listing UK property for sale or to rent.

I’m sure you, like us, have countless SPAM emails that you constantly have to sifted out of your inbox and into the trash.  Some days it can be quite tiresome removing this unwanted email traffic.  When we came up with the our property listing website idea we took this into consideration.  It should only take a matter of minutes to upload your free property listing with us.  However, it will not be added to the website until it has been verified.  This enables us to filter out potential SPAM property adverts.  This approach is exactly the same once your property listing has been verified and added to our website.  So should someone be interested in your property advert, they too have to go through the same verification process.

There are plenty of services available where you can upload your own property listing without the use of estate agents.  However, they will vary greatly.  Our own service is essentially a teaser property advert, similar to those displayed in newspapers, the difference being your details remain confidential on the website.  Therefore, you should not receive unsolicited emails or phone calls.  Only when you are willing to receive property enquiries can details be exchanged between the two parties.  This way we believe there is mimimal effort in listing a property advert with us and it’s a great way to test the market.  Not to mention, we do not charge an upfront fee for property adverts, only for qualified property enquiries that have been verified.

Therefore you should do your research before selecting which website to list your UK property with.  Your property listing criteria should be more than which is the cheapest service; as the saying goes there is no such thing as a free lunch!  Website forms, like those we use, are currently one of the best ways to combat SPAM.  Thus we have ensured our customers are always our first thought when developing our site.

More responses to your Property For Sale or To Rent Listings

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

The phrasea picture paints a thousand words is very apt when it comes to property listingswhether you are selling or lettting in the UK

Have you searched the web for property wanted either to purchase or rent?  If so, you will notice not only the different property adverts, but also some are without pictures.  I’m not sure about you, but we like to see property photos.  Even if there are only a few available it helps to create the vision.  Is the property of interest?  Could you see yourself living there?  Not only that, but more importantly it gets the imagination going.  What’s the area like?  What would you do to the property if you were the owner?  These questions and many more will no doubt aid your decision as to whether you want to contact the vendor and take a look at the property on offer.  The approach is the same whether you are looking for rented accommodation or a new home.  So why do some property adverts not contain pictures?  Have they had trouble adding them?  Perhaps the thought was to test the market first.

There are a variety of websites where you can sell or let your UK property privately.  Most, if not all, like our own service give you the opportunity to upload photos of property you want to list for sale or let.  Like a business you are competing for customers; so you need to give them every opportunity of showing an interest in your property advert.  A picture really does paint a thousand words, so if you are considering listing your property online ensure you have up to date photos to upload.

UK Property Wanted with Sexy Addresses

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

Many people strive to live in a particular street or an area of the UK for differing reasons. From a family perspective it could be that it’s the catchment area for the best local school; for others it may have been on their list of aspirations as a token of their achievement.

With the UK recession now seemingly behind us will the UK housing market start to move more fluidly allowing people to move into these so called ’sexy addresses’? It’s an interesting question to pose. A lot depends on whether the biggest downturn since records began is really a thing of the past. Confidence is absolutely key to any revival. Not only that, but it could be a shifting mindset that may also affect the fluidity. Perhaps those who aspired to be in prestigious UK property addresses have now had second thoughts. If they were directly affected by the UK recession, perhaps even losing their job or business, then it’s likely their own ideals will have changed in the near term. Only time will tell if we see a return to the ‘keeping up with the Joneses’ mentality or if there has been a real shift in values.

Those aspiring to live at a particular sexy address should consider posting a property wanted advert. By casting the net wider UK home seekers may actually find the UK property they are looking to buy or rent. There are websites that cater for this particular free property listing service in the UK. It also gives them the ability to test the market.  In many cases potential UK buyers and renters could be missing out on a huge opportunity by not considering alternative approaches to using estate agents.

By doing their research potential UK property buyers and renters could find such websites to be an invaluable source of property lead referrals.  You never know it may also lead to you securing your dream property.

Traditionalist Estate Agency Property Listing or the DIY Privately Route

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

It’s an interesting debate.  If you are looking to advertise your property via the traditionalist estate agency route; do you opt for a sole agency or multiple agency agreement?

It’s curious to understand what the motives are to list your UK property with several estate agents.  Sole agency agreements seem to be more common and popular, but you do come across UK property advertised with several agency for sale or to let boards.  It could be that one agent was originally instructed, but have failed to do so within a required timescale thus other parties have been brought in to try and clinch the deal for the client.  What is the perception of interested parties on multiple agency listings?  Do potential UK buyers or tenants query why a particular property is listed with several estate agents?  Or is it just the case of having a wider appeal?   It’s unclear what the motives are, but you’d expect it would not be down to agency fees.  If anything, could it be that it costs them more should there be a successful property transaction at the end of it due to the effort involved in selling it quicker than your multiple agent rivals.

So what about listing your UK property for sale or for rent privately?  There appears to be no such problems with websites that provide Free Property Listing services to owners who wish to rent or sell their UK properties online. Traditional estate agency methods to rent or sell a UK property involves expenses, because a property broker or estate agent expects to be paid. Using hassle free websites to buy, sell, rent and let property online can save you a lot of money.  There are specialized services online that provide value-added FREE property listing, thus eliminating the need to use estate agents. These online UK private property websites ease the hassle of letting and renting properties, and save money in the process. Owners can advertise with them and add their property under their Free Property Ads.

This kind of service has a lot to offer and is developing rapidly, gaining more and more clients everyday and thus improving chances for selling or renting your UK property privately.

Online Private Property Sales & Rentals are a viable alternative

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

2009 was the year to forget given the Credit Crisis and the downturn in the UK economy.  The optimists amongst us are predicting a better 2010.  Whilst we are far from coming out of the woods yet, recent results and statistics suggest we are heading in the right direction.

So has 2009 had any lasting effects on the UK property market?  Well, it’s more apparent that we all value our money that much more.  Whilst in the past during the UK property boom years there wasn’t a second thought before placing properties with Estate Agents to attract would be property purchasers or renters.  However, will 2010 see a much different approach?  Are we more careful now about the cost of goods and services we use, Estate Agents included?

There are viable alternatives to the traditionalist ‘list your property with the Estate Agent’ approach.  Statistics point towards the fact we spend more time searching UK property adverts online regardless as to whether you want to buy or rent property.  So consideration should be given to a Free Property Listing approach. There are some fantastic, hassle free, online UK private property websites that offer such services.  They are not estate agents, but property lead referral services putting UK property sellers and landlords in touch with people who are looking for property wantedto buy and rent and vice versa.  Such sites in most cases give you the opportunity to test the market.

Whilst the Do It Yourself property advert may not be considered by all; the fact that you can save a considerable amount of money in Estate Agent fees should mean it is at least given a second thought.  Such property listing sites should be seen as credible alternatives offering a simple service that should prove popular easing the hassle of buying, selling, letting and renting property.
