According to the Construction Enquirer ,the new buildings on the site of a former BBC multi-storey car park at Macfarlane Place on Wood Lane will provide affordable homes. 71 will be London affordable rent, 34 London living rent and 37 homes for shared ownership. Construction is expected to begin in March with delivery expected in early 2024.

It has been reported by the Construction Enquirer that Henry Construction Projects has been confirmed as the preferred contractor for phases 2 and 3 of a major housing regeneration scheme planned by Clarion Housing Group in the London Borough of Merton. The scheme will include 105 low-rise homes made up of a mix of houses and apartments plus community centre. Construction is expected to start later this year with completion due in 2025.

According to Bdaily News, Bellway are building 67 affordable properties available for local people through rent or shared ownership in Stratford. They are due to be finished at the end of 2025.

Housing Today has reported that Notting Hill Genesis have been given the green light to build a 190-home development around Hackney Wick Station. Half of the homes will be affordable housing and 5% will be larger than national size standards. They will be a mix of London Affordable Rent, shared ownership and private sale housing. They will be spread across four buildings. The work will begin later this year and complete in 2025.

As reported by the Construction Enquirer work will start on affordable homes in North London by Housing association Catalyst and development partner Hill Group. 239 homes should be built in the first phase.

According to Built Environment Networking, Pocket Living are building 74 affordable homes, in Snaresbrook. They are due to be finished in 2026.

Construction Enquirer has reported that TfL and A2Dominion will build 348 affordable homes. These will be a mix of shared ownership and affordable rent.

Premier Construction News have announced that Barnet Council are starting work on 217 new affordable homes. Barnet Council have entered into a partnership with Sage Homes, to ensure the whole scheme was designated as affordable. Barnet Homes will manage 60 homes at London Affordable Rent on the council’s behalf. This is for people on the borough’s waiting list and they will continue to manage the entire estate.
Sage Homes will sell the remaining 82 shared ownership homes to part-rent part-buy customers in the local area who cannot afford to buy on the open market.
