Place North West has reported Salford City Council Crossfield to build 177 homes on the former Harrop Fold High School site on Longshaw Drive. The contract will see Crossfield construct 144 houses and 45 apartments at the 11-acre Little Hulton site. Construction of the homes will take around three years and work is due to start in the middle of February. Once built, the majority of the homes will be operated by Salford City Council’s social housing arm Dérive.
