CESSAC House is a sheltered scheme for people aged over 60 that opened in 1976 and contains 56 flats. All are self-contained with a bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom.
CESSAC House is one of 5 schemes owned by CESSA Housing Association in the Portsmouth/Gosport area, applications for which are welcome from former military personnel (including National Servicemen), their spouses, partners, widows/widowers, parents and children aged 60 or over. Former Reserve Force members RNXS and MOD civilian employees are also welcome to apply.
Situated in Gosport, there is a bus stop 200 yards from the scheme, giving access to shops, the GP surgery and the post office which approximately 1000 yards away.
Facilities include: a ground floor communal lounge and kitchen, shared laundry facilities, a hairdressing salon, as well as another communal lounge and a guest bedroom on the first floor. There is a lift to the first floors. CESSAC House also has its own small shop which is operated by a tenant committee.
There is a full-time Scheme Manager who works 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. Outside of working hours, emergency cover is provided by an emergency Careline service.
The rental price includes a monthly service charge.
