Where did it all begin?
Cobalt Housing was formed in February, 2003 and is a registered housing association based in North Liverpool. They currently manage 6000 affordable homes across Croxteth, Norris Green, Fazakerley and Sparrow Hill. As the majority landlords in these areas, Cobalt Housing are actively engaged in a wide range of economic, neighbourhood and community regeneration activities within the area.
They aim to provide quality places to live and try to play a part in developing communities where people are proud to live, which is similar to the mission that MovingSoon has. They identified an issue with finding tenants for some of their homes and approached MovingSoon on the recommendation of another housing association.
Cobalt Housing have been using MovingSoon since 2017 to find new tenants for their available homes.
How did MovingSoon help, and what were the results?
Cobalt Housing found that they had some hard to let properties that they were unable to find tenants for via the Choice Based Lettings (CBL) Scheme.
Since Cobalt began to advertise with MovingSoon, they’ve found new tenants for their homes. MovingSoon’s reach in finding new tenants who could rent their properties was a no brainer – so far this year the success rate is 100%.
MovingSoon currently works with over 40 housing associations across the UK. With their mission of making affordable housing more accessible, having such a wide variety of providers allows greater choice for customers.
