About the area

Bowhayes Lodge is located five minutes from Crewkerne town which offers a variety of shops and places to eat, including Waitrose and Lidl supermarkets. Crewkerne also has a museum and Crewkerne Farmers market which is held on the third Saturday of each month in the square with lots of local stalls and traders.

Crewkerne Aqua Centre, gym and swimming pool is an eight minute walk away and Crewkerne Health Centre is just over 10 minutes.

Easily accessible

The nearest train station is a mile away and on the main line to Exeter, St Davids and London Waterloo. The nearest bus stop is 0.4 miles away in Market Square

with a regular bus service into Yeovil, Chard, Taunton and Ilminster. Several local taxi firms are also available.

Local attractions

There are plenty of National Trust sites such as Montacute House, Yeovil and Barrington Court near Ilminster. Cricket St Thomas Golf Club is a short drive away and you can follow Yeovil Town Football Club at their ground in Yeovil close by. You are only around a 30-minute drive from the coast with lots of lovely countryside to explore along the way.
